Rosemary Kendrick hails from a background in both education technology startup operations and public policy analysis. Currently, she is Director of Operations at the education technology startup BloomBoard as well as a Visiting Education Research Fellow at the think tank Innosight Institute, where she focuses on blended learning schools and disruptive innovation in education. In the past, she worked at education technology companies Fidelis Education and LeapFrog and spent several years working in Washington, D.C. as a senior education policy researcher with the American Enterprise Institute, where she headed analyses on topics including educational entrepreneurship. She received her MBA from Harvard Business School.

Jesse is the CEO & Co-Founder of MindSnacks. Prior to MindSnacks, Jesse worked as an information architect and strategist at Razorfish, a leading digital marketing agency owned by Publicis. There, he developed websites, mobile applications and online marketing campaigns for brands such as Victoria’s Secret, Ford, Ralph Lauren and Condé Nast.
Shauntel Poulson is an associate partner at NewSchools Venture Fund’s Oakland office, where she focuses on investment strategy, due diligence, and management assistance for the organization’s portfolio ventures. Prior to joining NewSchools, Shauntel was a Senior Engineer at Procter and Gamble where she developed product innovations, designed supply chains, and managed technology partnerships. Shauntel is passionate about the intersection of education and technology and has worked with education technology companies globally. As an Education Pioneers Fellow at Wireless Generation, Shauntel recommended program enhancements for the School of One program based on an analysis of student performance data.
Tony Wan

Tony is responsible for much of the content in the original EdSurge newsletter. Tony is also the co-founder of Luckybird Games, where he can be found awake at odd hours working on Equatia, an RPG-style game focused on arithmetic fluency (think Zelda with math). He has previously managed websites and online publications for a Bay Area think tank and served as editor for the Stanford Journal of East Asian Affairs. When he's not playing video games as part of his "research," he's working on his golf game, which has plateaued since his high school days.
